Jag gör min egen rått mat (Engelska)
I apologize in advance but this post is going to be in English. I can not write or speak very good Swedish, yet as I have recently immigrated from the United States and I would rather avoid sentence butchering and confusion :) Anywho, I have come across quite the dilemma. Usually I buy food from the Ark Zoo. This food to be precise.

Anywho, the Arken Zoo in my town did not have it when i went to buy some, so I asked when they would have it in, They said Tuesday. (Three other petshops in town and not one sells rat food). So I went back Tuesday and guess what? They did not order any rat food. UGH. Its been flaky trying to find the food as is and now there was none in town. Then I went to zoo.se and bought 2 bags of food and it said it would arrive in 1-3 business days. And 3 business days later they contact me to tell me They never shipped it because they're out of stock. UGH They waited that long to tell me? :( Now my rats have been out of food for 1.5 weeks and they've been fed some cereals and leftovers and stuff from us, but I really want them to have a solid staple for their diet. (Of course they would have fresh fruits, vegetables, and protein to add to this) I do not really know what you guys do here, but in the US we have a few recipes for food you can make on your own with dogfood and then seeds and grains (like oats). I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for this. With my 5 month old son I dont have the time to make them their own fresh meals every night, even though I wish I did! :( So some kind of dry mix I could keep in a bucket and just make once every two weeks or something would be GREAT.
ALSO: I would like to know what kind of dog food you use in your mixes (If you use any). And I only have Males, if that matters any.
Thanks so much!

I tend just to mix in some of my dogs food into the mix, no particular brand. Its only there to 'thicken it out' i still need fresh meats etc.
Otherwise i buy musslie ( no added sugar etc ) in the store and add sunflower seeds and some other stuff i cant remember its translated name
I don't know if you are able to read this link (maybe you could run it through google translate?), but this is a recipe that a lot of rat owners use:

Let me know if you want me to translate any parts of the recipe for you! :)

Thanks guys :) My Google Chrome auto translates for me, and if there is any confusion my sambo can translate for me, he just prefers not to translate every message I want to write LOL.
I wondered about the dog food because at least in the USA its been said you should use a low protein dog food with quality ingredients. But I have no idea what "quality" ingredients are! 🤔

I dont remember fully tbh xP
I think its basically low meat, more veggies whatever ( but it feels weird, I think i would rather choose a high quality food with meats in it to make sure they get the meaty stuff they need )
