Rats - mites?
Hey guys,
our pet rats lately have been scratching quite a lot and have some scabs around neck, back, behind ears, so I am suspecting that they could have mites?
Does anyone have a recommendation what to do, see a vet? If so, where can we go in Stockholm? Or is it a treatment that I can buy on my own?

Need to see a vet and get stronghold or perhaps ivermectine. But stronghold is more common these days. Sounds like scabs.
1-2 drops in the neck and one more treatment about 3 weeks after when its scabs. Can survive and come back if only given one treatment. So better is a boost with 1-2 drops in the neck again.
Could go to any vet in Stockholm. Its so common and every mite/scab problem are often given stronghold.

In Sweden it's the vet you have to visit. In UK they sell this stuff in the store. Would be awesome. Before we could order from ratrations but not sure we can now since the brexit.
