Vet in stockholm (urgent)

Hi everyone, sorry for not able to use Swedish, I really need some help.

Our rat's ear is bleeding and her head is tilted, we are really worry, it's late now so we will take her to vet tomorrow as soon as possible. We live in  Stockholm area and I have already saved up some vet info. But due to our Swedish level we are not too sure if we understand the vet's site correctly.

Seems like they don't have a time slot for rodent until 2 weeks later, am I understanding the booking system correctly?

http://ahlbergsvet.se/ open after 1pm tomorrow. Our current plan is to go right after they open, but is there other vet that open earlier tomorrow? Any other vet option we can look into?

We are really really worry….Thank you so much for your help. Tack så mycket!

Hi! I would probably try to call evidensia (the first link), as they might be able to get you an appointment even though it’s not available in the online booking system. Unfortunately I’m not very good with vets in Stockholm, but I’ve heard a lot of good things about Mälardalens smådjursklinik (http://www.malarensmadjur.se/index.html) so maybe they’re worth giving a call too, they might have an opening tomorrow morning. Are you sure it’s blood coming out of the ear or could it be porphyrin? It could be an ear infection which will require medicine, and the sooner the better as the tilting of the head is more likely to be permanent if you wait too long. The other option is unfortunately a tumour, which is much harder to treat. Or maybe something else, I’m not a vet so I really shouldn’t say :) But yeah, try to get it to a vet as soon as possible and I wish you all the luck!

I'm quite sure it is blood, I really hope I'm wrong. I will get her to the vet as early as they open tomorrow. Thank you so much for your reply.

Simply call Roslagstull. They'll take a phone call in english, and they'll make room for your rat if it's urgent. They have 2 vets that are experienced in rats (1 currently on vacation as far a s I know), and at least 3 or 4 keepers that have good experience with rats. Go for it!
