# Looking for a pet rat!

Hi! I am looking to buy a pet rat. I have had rats before when I was younger, and I am very good with them! Please let me know if you are selling rat babies, preferably female. I live in Stockholm. Thanks !

Don't know if you are familiar with the laws, but you are rquired to own at least 2 rats since they are herd animals. Now to where you can find rats, depending on how good at Swedish you are maybe this site can help you --> [Råttuppfödare](http://http://rattuppfodare.se/) , I have also heard that there is currently three female rats in at Råtthjälpen, which is a helporganistion for rats. I am Zolah, and im one of the moderators here and if needed I can help you find sites and such adjusted to english to help you around with petrat care :)  

As Tötenöten says you have to have rats in packs, so minimum 2 rats of the same gender. I would suggest three, incase something happens to one of them ^^ then you wont have issues to find a friend to the other rat. ( they're very social animals and can die due to solitude )
